Some of us 3rd party people are still waiting to hear conservatives say that they learned from the Iraq mistake. We're afraid to vote Republican again until we hear something conciliatory out of the GOP. It's not all about the money. It's about the dead Americans, the ill will that continues to spread for the US, and big government abusing our military. Our military is for defense not occupation.
I was in Vietnam recently. They still don't have democracy there. China never used them as a 'domino', there were no 'WMD's'. "Fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again."
In other words, mistakes need to be admitted to or history will repeat itself.
