CA's Big Chance

New governor Jerry Brown is proposing cuts all over the budget and with it, tax increases up for a vote. It's time to put up or shut up. We all have to give a little to raise up out of the hole we've dug. We owe more per capita than 46 other states.

I keep reading about the special interests that are fighting their cuts. I get that some important programs will be shut down. I'm for more education spending (efficiency measures first) but I know we need cuts now. So have at it. Hopefully affected programs can be restarted when CA relearns to balance their budget.

Good news. I just switched over to debt free living. I owe nothing to anyone. Boats, vehicles, property, credit cards - all paid off. Feels damn good. I want the people of our great state to feel the way I do. I want the whole country to feel this way. We have too much going for us to be a debtor nation.
