Easy Decision

As president, sometimes you have to make the hard decisions and do what's right for your countries future, no matter how controversial. President Obama needs to commit our country to a 40% GHG reduction by 2020. This is the right thing to do for the future of the country and the world. Then he needs to hit the road and muster the US public behind the greatest cause of mankind. Now is the time to do this great thing.

It is an elegant solution to most of our problems. An infrastructure change to green creates jobs and a whole new market to drive local markets and to export. The cleaning of the air makes for happier, healthier, less expensive citizens. The ocean can begin to recover. And we can finally stop funding terrorism each time we buy a gallon of gas. Let's buy our energy from Us.

Build the national smart grid, the windmills, put solar on every roof that gets sun, tap geothermal, hydroelectric and ocean energy and start the transition to an all electric car/shuttle/train fleet.

Close off downtowns to vehicle traffic and make parks and walkways and bikepaths and let's regain our sense of community.

Let's evolve already.
