Where do you get your information?

I believe that lack of access to the facts is the countries problem. How do you sort through it all to arrive at an opinion that is not skewed? If you get your news from one or two sources that tend to agree with you, you likely are not getting the whole picture.

I use google.com, click news, when I want to see all sides of a story. They take the top news stories and post the headlines from a random selection of news providers. You can click through to the full articles. It's brilliant.

When I receive the extremist emails, from both sides of the political spectrum, I search to discover the truth and then 'reply all' so that we all have the facts in hand. I encourage others to not sit by and let their friends be suckered.

The first place I go is usually Snopes.com . Lobbies who begrudge an informed public will tell you that it is left wing. I researched that and discovered that it was founded by a registered republican.

Wikipedia.com gives a concise general overview of any subject or concept. The site is written by thousands of people who all chime in to get the facts straight.

I just found politifact.com, reportedly non-partisan it gives a nice overview for current debates.

Environmental issues? Enn.com I enjoy learning about the technology that promises a safer happier future for our offspring.

Left wing: Huffingtonpost.com
Right wing: Fox news or the Heritage Foundation

Enjoy
