Democrats: stop the whining and get the 'change' legislation pushed through. It's embarrassing watching you control House, Senate and Prez and not being able to do anything. History will mock you.

New Rule: Anyone borrowing from the government does so with strict rules. Books open. Top level managers/CEO's subject to immediate removal. Whole company goes green. Unprofitable appendages sold off to green 'certified' companies.

Health Care: Why is it so hard to copy the successful systems that all other countries use.

A friend and I rode our motorcycles out the other day and stopped for lunch. We talk about other stuff but we touch on politics. He's a little right of center, I'm a little left. He doesn't like the big bailouts. It's something we agree on. If I were him I would be glad that the whole house of cards didn't come tumbling down. He is entrenched in our fragile infrastructure. A financial meltdown would have been devastating for his family. I am not in a position where my situation would change much. I would have liked to see a natural correction, no matter how devastating. A depression would do the soul of this country good. It would also demonstrate what happens when deregulation runs its course.
