Pursuing Natural Gas in US

"...enough domestic natural gas reserves to last us for centuries without relying on any imports. "

That sounds good.  Gas companies release the ingredients in fracking fluid that they are pumping into our drinking water and we'll be on our way.

Natural gas is a great interim fuel for us and we should be pushing hard to have it replace coal for electricity and oil for transport.  A great interim fuel until our renewable energy infrastructure is in place.  Then we'll be clean, independent and benefit from the jobs and economy that comes from both.
