Us

Will the US remain on top?  Karmically, it hardly seems possible.  An argument in favor of continued dominance is our sustained hunger.  My evidence comes from an odd source, the business industry.  Folks in big banking and the energy sector, for instance, worship the balance sheet with so much zeal they are willing to eschew morality and integrity to improve it.  We blame the CEOs but they aren't doing it alone  All of upper management and then some, must share this ugly idealism and be willing to commit immoral acts for some easy financial gain.  This is an indicator of our nations cutthroat ambition to remain relevant, if only financially.

Of course, any of us can steal to be rich.  The more gratifying and more whole world way to success will require slightly more effort.  We make corporate (and personal) decisions based on the long term and wider consequence.
