We've been having this discussion about whether pumping borrowed money into the economy will help keep us out of a worse financial situation. We're about to find out. England is trying out what US conservatives want us to do, to drastically cut spending in a bad economy to balance the budget. We're about to see if this is a good idea. Seems like balancing the budget would be easier if the economy was back to flush. Much as I hope for the best, I think England may see harder times. At least the slash or spend debate will end.
