Climate Change?

A lot of people are glad that global warming is finally over. I see the articles proclaiming it and hear people talking about the record cold and snows.

Of course you can't have a lot of snow without a lot of evaporation, caused by heat. I don't hear science discussing this yet but I observe that when my ice is melting in my glass that the water get's really cold. They say we are having record melting in places like Greenland, Canada and the Arctic. And it is accelerating.

Consider what happens when that last little piece of ice is gone. The temperature of my beverage goes up. Scientists say we will see our first ice-free Arctic sometime in the next ten years. I expect you'll see a drastic change in weather that year and going forward. As the seas warm, permafrost melts releasing methane which is worse than CO2. It's already happening in places like Alaska.

They say it's hard for a human to think beyond the scope of our own lives. I think we should focus a little harder.

Buy local, shun products from polluters, vote for green stuff.
