Bush a failure? I don't think so. He and his team set out to help their friends. The only industry that Bush had ever worked in was the oil industry. And Cheney had Haliburton. Friends of theirs profited from large defense and other government contracts. Implementing a war in the Gulf region brought huge profits to this group. Isolating the US profited the group. Instilling fear in Americans kept a war going thus profiting his group. Another part of the group profited by selling unsecured loans on a grand scale with no recourse. When the economy was about to dump they bet in the market that it would and profited. As those profits were being collected Bush proposed and got a bank bailout, technically welfare for his rich friends. If you profited from any of these acts against our counrty you were a lucky bystander.
I think if you asked him or any one in his group they would tell you that Bush was a very successful president.
